2005 White House Conference on Aging

As part of GSA's "Civic Engagement in an Older America" initiative, public forums and focus groups were held throughout the month of February. Information gathered at these events was used to develop recommendations that were submitted to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging. 2005 GSA Annual Scientific Meeting

The 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Gerontological Society of America will take place November 18th - 23rd. Due to the circumstances in New Orleans, GSA is currently looking for a new meeting site, though the dates of the meeting will remain unchanged. To keep informed of the latest Annual Meeting developments be sure to check the GSA website at www.agingconference.com.

There are a number of civic engagement related paper and poster sessions that will be highlighted at this year's Annual Meeting. Click here to access a list of these sessions, including the date and time that presentations will take place.

ACADEMY RESOURCES: Our resource list has recently been updated. Click here to visit the list on our website, which contains links to selected online resources. Included in the list is the complete set of resolutions from the 1995 White House Conference on Aging and reports in the area of civic engagement.
