New: Engage in GSA Meeting Presenter Discussions (Live Q&A with Speakers)

As we countdown to the kickoff of the live portion of the 2020 GSA Annual Scientific Meeting on Wednesday, November 4, please be sure to select which of the Presenter Discussions you wish to attend and “favorite” them so they will appear in your customized daily schedule.

There are multiple ways to explore the Presenter Discussion schedule; we encourage you to visit the Presenter Discussion tile on the meeting home page to view the full schedule.

These new Presenter Discussions are the live question & answer portion of on-demand symposia, paper and poster sessions. These sessions enable participants to ask questions of the session faculty and discuss the content presented in the on-demand programming. There will be no scientific presentations during these sessions.

GSA has organized 665 Presenter Discussions so that meeting registrants have the opportunity for direct engagement with speakers in a video chat format.

A few tips to help you make the most of these 30-minute opportunities for dialogue with colleagues.

  • Join the presenter discussions on time so you don’t miss the conversation.
  • To join the video chat, click the “Presenter Discussion” button located at the bottom of each Presenter Discussion Session listing.
  • The Presenter Discussion speakers will facilitate the dialogue.
  • Please mute your microphone when not speaking to eliminate background noise.
  • To further enhance virtual engagement, you may wish to take advantage of the video/camera option.
