Continuing Education

  This Continuing Education activity is jointly provided by CME Outfitters and The Gerontological Society of America.


GSA 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting Online Streaming Symposia only, November 4-7, 2020– these symposia are video streamed and include a live discussion or Q&A with presenters. 

Participants must attend the entire streaming scientific session and complete the CME Outfitters, LLC request for credit form and online evaluation form to receive continuing education credit. Enrolled participants should have received an email from CME Outfitters with instructions on how to request credit and how to complete the online evaluation. Certificates of attendance will be provided via e-mail following the conference by CME Outfitters. Continuing education materials will be accepted up to 30 days after the program takes place. A record of attendance will be kept on file by CME Outfitters.

  • Identify research findings that have implications for their practice in Gerontology and Geriatrics 
  • Integrate research from multiple disciplines to improve services for older adult patients
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to shape policy, care plans, and advocacy efforts based on the best available evidence
  • Incorporate new evidence into their professional practice

  • This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CME Outfitters, LLC and The Gerontological Society of America. CME Outfitters, LLC is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CME Outfitters, LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
  • Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15510, for up to 15.0 contact hours.
