Call for Abstracts

Online abstract submission site open from February 1 to March 11, 2021.

Abstract Deadline

Due to the ongoing personal and professional demands you may be experiencing resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, all authors who start their abstract submission by 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 11 will be given until 10 a.m. EDT on Monday, March 15 to complete and submit their abstract for the 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting. After 10 a.m. EDT on Monday, March 15, the site will close and the review process will begin. The option to begin a new abstract will not be available after Thursday, March 11.

GSA is committed to ensuring that all individuals whose abstracts are accepted for the Annual Scientific Meeting will have the opportunity to share their scholarship at the meeting.

New Expanded Meeting Format

Based on uncertainties regarding travel safety and large gatherings, GSA is adding an Online component to its in-person 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, November 10-14. This means that individuals who cannot travel will have the option to participate in the meeting and make their scholarship available to attendees using an Online Annual Scientific Meeting platform.

The Gerontological Society of America's (GSA) Annual Scientific Meeting brings together more than 4,000 researchers, clinicians, educators, and other professionals in the field of aging from around the world devoted to fostering change and innovation. The meeting provides the opportunity to learn from and discuss the latest trends, research, and key issues with experts and other thought leaders in aging.

Submit an abstract from February 1 to March 11 for your opportunity to participate in the GSA 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting program and enhance the future of the field.
